Soon after the discovery of Urban Meteorites, AND began investigations into the functional applications of this new natural resource. The object pictured above represents a concept study for use as furniture. Here the top and bottom sections have been machined away to create coplanar surfaces at a height of 46mm (18 inches). The seating surface has been shaped with diamond abrasives and finished to a 0.5μm high polish.

During the course of this investigation, AND Research and Development collected a wealth of material data. We are currently developing new and practical applications for our collection of Urban Meteorites.
